Ever wished to have your own slide in your home? I know most of us wanted to have one not just for the kids but even for ourselves. I would definitely love to slide down the stairs like what I used to do when I was a kid. But since I can’t slide down the treads, I slide through the wooden railings which is of course not safe. Here is an awesome invention that will surely make you feel like a kid again and you might even get it even if you don’t have kids at home!
A set of folding mats could instantly convert a stairs into a slide. The brainchild designer and inventor Trisha Cleveland made us look at our staircase differently with her SlideRider. From the name itself, we can feel that it could offer so much fun to anyone using it. If you worry about saftey, you don’t have to bother yourself with that because the SlideRider has built-in rails and it is also made from sturdy foam that can support a child’s weight.
With this indoor slide, your kids could have endless fun without worrying about the weather.
Your kids will land safely too. But if you want to add more fun to it, why don’t you place an infaltable pool with a foam under in or some pillows too.
When not in use, you can just fold and keep the SlideRider. Don’t worry, you can still use your stairs normally when you want to.
You can neatly keep the folded mats which I think will not be kept for a long time because kids will always want to slide down!
Look at how neat the SlideRider looks. It looks humble this way but when you open it up, it bring a lot of fun!
Ladies and gentleman, we present to you the SlideRider! Your indoor slide to offer endless indoor fun to kids!
I know, I know. I know you feel excited to get these for your kids. I don’t know if it can bear your weight but I think as long as you are not overweight, you can try. But I’m not sure of that though! At the moment, Cleveland is still working with Quirky to realize this fun invention of hers. With the global online attention this slider is getting, I think this will be available in the market in no time! For the mean time, you can use a matress or a thick cardboard as a slide for the stairs like what other parents did in their homes. But don’t forget: Safety first!
